Hôm nay, Happy Citizen cập nhật thêm 1 số gói xử lý cũng sẽ tăng kể từ ngày 01/04/2024 từ USCIS.
USCIS là cơ quan duy nhất trong số các cơ quan liên bang có ngân sách đến từ phí đăng ký, không phải thuế hay Quốc hội. Mô hình tự duy trì này khiến việc điều chỉnh phí định kỳ trở nên quan trọng đối với hoạt động của cơ quan.
Sự thay đổi này sẽ có hiệu lực vào ngày 01/04/2024. Trong đó, nổi bật là các loại phí cho diện bảo lãnh hôn phu/hôn thê, bảo lãnh người thân, chuyển thẻ xanh 02 năm lên 10 năm,… đều tăng. Các đơn online sẽ được giảm $50 vì đơn điền online sẽ giúp Sở Di Trú thuận tiện hơn trong việc lưu giữ và gửi thông tin hồ sơ.
